Spiced Salmon and Vegetables

After a long day of work, all you need is quick and easy meal to get together. This Spiced Salmon recipe is not very time consuming- and is healthy and delicious! It is definitely a family favorite in my household, especially for my husband!
Here’s the recipe for the Salmon & a side of vegetables!
Two fillets of Salmon
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 teaspoon Fresh garlic paste
Maras Pepper(you will find this in Turkish grocery stores)
Salt to taste
½ Red and Green Bell Peppers Julienne
½ Spanish Onion
1 teaspoon pesto sauce
Mix oil, garlic paste,salt and maras pepper in a mixing bowl whisk it for a marinade.
Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets. Marinate for thirty minutes.
Heat a skillet and put the salmon fillets on there. Cover it with a lid.
In about 3 minutes, flip them and cook them on the other side uncovered. In another 2-3 minutes, the salmon should be fully cooked.
Place them on a serving dish and squeeze the lemon juice on them
Recipe (Side of Vegetables):
Chop onions & pepper into slices.
Add oil to a pan, then add the pesto sauce
Add the onions and cook till they are soft, then add the peppers and cook for 3-4 minutes. They should remain crunchy.
Add the vegetable side the the Salmon plate, and serve!
