Online Shopping 101

Online Shopping 101

Do you ever feel stressed shopping online? Not knowing where to begin to find the perfect outfit for your first date, or can’t find the right shoe because there is just too much “stuff” to sort through? If you have ever felt like you’ve been in this situation, here are some tips and guidelines to make your online shopping a lot easier, more enjoyable, and an overall awesome experience!

Use filter options to narrow down what you’re looking for. Filter by size, color or style. For me, there have been plenty of times when I’m looking for a dress, but they never have my size in the dresses I want. By filtering by size, I never end up being disappointed, and have all the options for my size laid out in front of me!

Always read product reviews. I cannot stress enough how important this is, yet so many people refrain from reading reviews. By reading reviews, you can better understand the quality of the product, as well as how it fits, and how it feels! It always is the make it or break it factor for me. It also saves you the hassle of returning the item if you don’t like it!

Stick to sites that offer free shipping both ways. You never want to be paying more money then you should be because that's less to spend on clothes and more to spend on shipping. Here are some websites that offer free shipping both ways with no minimum: Topshop, Madewell, Nordstrom

Use the “favorite” tool to narrow down styles you love without keeping track of them in your head. My favorite part of online shopping is how hassle-free the experience is. You never have to wait in line to purchase products, you don't have to carry around styles that are potential purchases, and, best of all: you are shopping in the comfort of your own bed. The favorite tool definitely helps to add to the hassle free experience.
