20 Minute Meal: Pasta

We are all tired at the end of the day after working and running errands. The last thing we want to worry about is cooking for yourself and others. So here is a series of '20 Minute Meals' starting with this amazing pasta recipe I got from my brilliant, culinary genius mother.
Ingredients (Serves 3):
1 Box Pasta (any kind)
1 Jar of Marinara Sauce
1 Jar of Alfredo Sauce
Crushed Red Pepper
Minced Garlic or Garlic Powder
Italian Seasoning or Oregano
1 Bag of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Desired Vegetables: Green Peppers, Onions, Zucchini, Mushrooms, etc.
*The proportions below are assuming you are using an entire box of pasta. Please adjust accordingly.
Step 1: Cook pasta.
If you don’t know how to make pasta, here is a quick run through: boil water, add a pinch of salt to the water so the noodles don’t stick to each other. To help boil the water faster, cover the pot with the lid. Once water is boiling, add desired amount of boxed pasta. Try a piece of pasta (cool it off by running a piece under cold water) and taste for desired texture/firmness. Turn off stove and drain water from pot once the pasta tastes right.
Step 2: If you are using vegetables, chop vegetables as pasta is cooking. Pieces should be bite sized.
Heat up a pan with oil (low-medium heat), add cut vegetables, and 1 tablespoon of each red pepper, minced garlic, Italian seasoning and basil. Turn off heat when vegetables seem soft and browned.
Step 3: To the plain, dry pasta, add an additional 1-2 tablespoons of crushed red pepper, 2 tablespoons of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning or oregano, 1 tablespoon of basil, and cooked vegetables.
Step 4: Add ⅔ jar of marinara sauce and ⅓ jar of Alfredo. Stir well.
Step 5: Top pasta with shredded mozzarella cheese and stir in so cheese melts. I recommend about ½ to ¾ of the bag.
